The Thomas office chair, known as ‘The Boss’ of the James Stewart collection, commands attention and is for the Tall Boss, anyone over 6ft tall will feel this designs generosity and comfort. The Boss” is upholstered in Camden semi aniline leather, it shows all the hides visible variation and reveals the same natural characteristics as aniline, whilst being a little more protected by its coating.

Pure aniline leathers represent approximately 5% of all upholstery leathers produced worldwide, for this reason they are special and exceptional.

As hides are selected for their highest quality requiring little or no correction. Different parts of the hide will absorb the aniline dyes differently, highlighting all the natural qualities such as grain and skin folds. For this reason, aniline dyes can only be used on 100% top grain leather. Our highly experienced leather technicians work by hand and by eye to achieve the desired colour and finish outcome.

Alternatively, if you prefer a leather that has more even colour consistency and less character marks, then a semi-aniline finished leather upholstery such as the Manning executive chair, will be more your style. The Manning office chair makes working from home a pleasure with its sleek high back and sporty upholstery. Its Isadora semi-aniline leather is a top grain leather and is produced in a similar process to full aniline dyeing, with a protective topcoat added for colour protection and lessening of scoring.
